Happened to come across this place in San Jose while shopping for remodeling items next door. Seems like they take soymilk seriously and enjoyed the free samples. Very fresh, high quality, and not too sweet - all good things. A little expensive although that's normal these days.
almost all of life's most unexpected experiences take place in nondescript Asian American suburban strip malls lined with status vehicles; soy milk tasting at US Soypresso is no exception. there isn't much signage as others have mentioned but once you find the place it's very cute and straightforward. soy milk galore in so many flavors, plus some Chinese snacks for funsies. we tried almost every flavor as a sample; the lady in the anime shirt had impeccable vibes and was so cool and helpful. ultimately we spent a small fortune on bean juice, my favorite by far being the corn soy milk. it's lightly sweetened summer in a bottle. the rose milk is very nice with an almost imperceptibly subtle floral flavor. the matcha tastes more like Taiwanese green tea but is still excellent. black rice is lovely as well. you really can't go wrong; ask (for guidance) and you shall receive. I will definitely come back for soy milk again - it's the best I've had in my short life so far, and I don't hand out superlatives like ice cream at summer camp. it's truly incredible and 100% worth driving across the bay for.
Pretty much a "if you know, you know" kind of place since it's at an unassuming strip mall and the only outdoor signage isn't in English. The light sugar soy milk was silky smooth and soothing. I'd say in terms of boba drink sweetness for comparison it was like at a 20% sweetness level. Wasn't a biggest fan of the black sesame soy milk; wished there was a stronger black sesame taste to it and it was a bit gritty. The Japanese-style tofu pudding was quite tasty with the provided sweetened bean pastes. Easy to down the whole container lol. Lady at the counter was friendly. Place is strictly grab-and-go style. Easy lot parking.
Little hole in the wall store that sells fresh soy milk in various flavors. The owner was very patient and explained the difference between all the flavors available. I got a plain soy milk for my dad, who is pre-diabetic, an apricot kernel flavored soy milk for me, and matcha for my daughter. We all really enjoyed the soy milk, which is thick and flavorful in the Chinese style vs the kind you find in the grocery store, which is made to be a bland replacement for dairy. They do run out of the popular flavors quickly, and the soy milk is a little pricey, but it is a really nice treat that reminded my dad of the kind of soy milk he enjoyed growing up in Hong Kong.
The only sign was in Chinese so I almost thought this soy milk location moved. Very clean environment and thankfully the staffer present was able to explain a bit about the business and the offerings. Honestly I was surprised and very impressed with the unique varieties. This soy milk is truly the BEST. Soo creamy, natural sweetness (not the overly too sweet that off the shelf jugs from markets), not to thick and true flavors. My fav is the corn soy. The containers are reusable and when returned back to store you get a recycle credit the small size is perfect for single serving while the large size is great to share. Worth the excursion to find and will definitely be back to try more.
Located to the left of Red Wing, can be easily missed as there's no shop signage on the top/roof but look for the white cloth banner! I highly recommend going earlier in day while they have all their soy milk flavors. Also look out for their weekly flavors! We went almost closing time and they sold out certain soy drinks and sizes. They also do samples which I really appreciate because especially for new drinks I don't like going in blind not knowing how a drink tastes. We got the light sugar, corn soy, and black sesame soy which were all good. They weren't too sweet and were blended smoothly. Only thing was the corn soy we sampled had some chunks and had a stronger corn flavor but the one we purchased had a lighter hint of corn flavor. So I'm guessing since everything is made fresh with fresh ingredient, the flavor may not be as consistent. Overall, def would come back to try their other flavors. P.S. keep your bottles and bring them back (cleaned w/o caps) to get $1 off for the large bottles and $.50 off for the small bottles.
The best tasting soymilk I've ever had! It was so creamy and you could really taste the soy flavor, very addicting. And the Japanese style silken tofu was so delicious too. I wanna go back and try other flavors! Definitely pricey but worth it in my opinion. Small little shop that's kind of out of the way, and they also didn't have some of the flavors when I went but still. so good
A cute lil soy milk spot in the South Bay! We were in the area when I realized that we were nearby Soypresso, and I had this place bookmarked for the LONGEST time as a huge fan of soy milk! They're located in a plaza with a bunch of offices, and have a small and quaint storefront. Lots of soy milk variety here, and the woman who helped us was nice to let us sample a few flavors! A couple of favorites from our sampling: the rose, matcha, and light sugar were amazing! We opted for a large bottle of the light sugar and got a large for about $14. Definitely almost got the rose too bc it was SO good, but fought the urge haha. The soy milk here is on the thicker side, and the flavors are light and fragrant. Don't forget to save your bottle for a second visit, to get $1 off your next bottle!
Always wanted to try Taiwanese soy milk. Thank you US Soypresso for opening two locations in the Bay Area! I wasn't sure what to order - so many flavors! They let me try some of the flavors and I decided to go with Matcha and Plain light sugar. Richest/thickest soy milk I ever tried in the states! Great experience. I'll have to go back to try other flavors soon!
